On a clear winter afternoon, an opportunity to capture the Puy de Sancy mountain range presented itself. Because of the great distance between the quiet hamlet and the snowy slopes, as well as the bright blue skies,  a High Dynamic Range picture - HDR - was required to capture what could otherwise be seen by the human eye only: a stunning panorama, for your viewing pleasure.
