Basilica Saint Julian of Brioude

Basilica Saint Julian of Brioude
A IV° century Roman soldier martyr, Saint Julian of Brioude, saw his crypte crowned with a succession of churches, until this Roman basilica was erected, during the XI° - XII° centuries. Thankfully, the contemporary stained glass windows from Kim En Joong are left out of this HDR photography, but their soft colors cast on the polychromatic stones add a gentle touch of divinity, for your viewing pleasure.
