HDR video camera recording. Finally

HDR video camera recording (full screen at Vimeo)
This is something I have been looking forward to since I started taking HDR photographs: the ability to capture a  HDR video. The folks over at Soviet Montage recorded the above HDR video using two video cameras, each capturing the exact same subject via a beam splitter, only with different exposure. The result is a video with a high dynamic range, far more details, and a poetic glow that is the signature of HDR captures.

If a reader of this blog knows some big wigs at Sony or Panavision, please suggest they develop an all-in-one, state of the art HDR video camera for motion picture directors, to explore the full potential of this technology, and for our viewing pleasure.
